Consciousness

Consciousness

This poem is about the void and our relationship to it, and society and its problems.

Consciousness, emptiness
never-ending, restlessness
devour the wicked, the sickly
leave no trace, do it quickly

Careless those, who rush
stop and sensate, so hush
twist and break, turmoil
decay and vanish, spoil

Determination, is it needed?
Cooperation, will it be heeded?

Limitations are limitless
Ocean-born are weightless
One plus one equals one
If you understand that

there will be none.
