Inner Light

Inner Light

This poem is about rising from doubt as an artist.

Crystal-faded, the paradoxical chaos unfolded beneath your ruby eyes
Crackling fiery turmoil, which defined your nebulae stage of stars
The gallant coward, tucked behind the scenes, now ascending
The fool shall become wise, the underdog rises into the champion

Never forget this spark of creation, which you so skilfully express
Inspiration as your guide, you become a divine flute for the art spirit
Moving on the canvas like a dancer, you make magic burst into reality
Let the colors fly my friend, and seize your place in the spotlight
This is your world now, yours alone, do not regret anything

The glory of this moment, is the eternity in twilight, through which you shine on
You crazy little diamond, you make the web of life richer by existing
Not even a blind person could help but see the illumination that stands before me
The clear and sheer nova that you are, you make even the demons revel in salvation
But do not forget, that the brightest lights, cast the darkest shadows
The pitch black abyss that you carry with you, will engulf everything
If it is not integrated together with the light, into the crux of being
